Sign up for Storytime!
View the Storytime information under
Children's Services for days and times.
Lap sit storytime for 2 year olds with an
adult will be offered at the Main Library
on Wednesdays in February and March
at 10:30am. Registration for lap sit is
not required.

"Super Bowls" Silent Auction
Individuals, groups, and businesses
wanting to donate a "bowl" for the Friends
of Washington Library's silent auction can
bring them to the Main Library starting
January 19th. Please wrap it in clear
cellophane and affix a tag listing the contents
and estimated value. For more information
call the Main Library.

Silent auction bids on some clever and
creative baskets and bowls will be
accepted through Saturday, February 7.
Come to the Main Library and make a bid!

"Cabin Fever" Returns!
Adult Winter Reading Program
Have fun exploring the various areas of the
library and fend off the winter doldrums with
"Cabin Fever". Stop by the Main or Branch
Library beginning January 26th to pick up
a reading log and start your 6 weeks of
reading on February 2nd. Complete your
log by Monday, March 16th to be entered
in our grand prize drawing for a Kindle Fire!

Career Preparation
Thursday, January 29, 2:00-3:00pm
Come to the Main Library for a free
informational workshop covering important
questions such as: What do I include in a
resume? Do I need a cover letter? I've
applied, now what?
Julia Rayburn of
Goodwill's Career Pathways will be here
to get you started and answer your questions.

LEGO Event (for ages 8-12)
Saturday, January 31, 10:00-11:30am
Use library-supplied LEGOs to build your
own creation at the Main Library! LEGO
creations will be displayed in one of the
library's display cases. Pre-registration is
required for this popular event for children
ages 8-12.

AARP Tax Aide
Tuesday afternoons by appointment only
February 3 through April 14

AARP Tax Aide volunteers will be at the
Main Library. Appointments must be made
in advance. Call or stop by the Main Library
to make an appointment.
