Registration for children ages 3-12

Branch Library or online for a summer filled
with family entertainment, fun educational
programs, rewards and, prizes drawings.

library bucks for every hour you read and
for each event you attend at the library.
Bucks can be spent on terrific prizes like
books, movies, t-shirts, toys, and gift

Cherry Festival
Visit us at the Washington Cherry Festival,
May 30 - June 2, where you can inquire
about the Friends of Washington Library
and have your library-related questions
answered! Children can win prizes and sign
up for this year's Summer Reading Club:
"Reading Is So Delicious!". Washington
residents can also register for a library card.
Visit the Digital Bookmobile!
The Digital Bookmobile, a high-tech library
housed in a 74-foot, 18-wheel tractor-trailer,
plans to stop at Peoria Public North Branch
on Wednesday, May 30, from 10:00am to
4:00pm and at Morton Public Library on
Thursday, May 31, from noon to 6:00pm.
Visitors to the Digital Bookmobile will find
materials in a variety of formats, and titles
can be transferred to supported portable
devices. The public is encouraged to bring
e-readers, phones, tablet computers or
laptops for help in learning how to download
digital media! Visiting the Digital Bookmobile

Red Cross Babysitting Class
Pre-register and pay through the Red Cross
website
(www.redcross.org) for a Red Cross
babysitting class being held at the Main
Library on June 4 and June 5 from 9:00am to
12:30pm. The class is for children ages 11-15.
