STEAM Power Projects at the Branch Library
Thursday, September 7, 4:00pm

Kids ages 3 and up can come to the Branch Library on the first Thursday of each month for a new
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) project. This month make an "Artbot",
a moving, doodling robot!

Brown-Bag-It Lunchtime Entertainment at the Main Library
Wednesday, September 13, 11:30am
Bring your kids and lunches to the Main Library for Forest Park Nature Center's nature's wonders.
Drinks are provided.

BINGO at the Branch Library

Free "Crafternoon" at the Branch Library
Thursday, September 21, 4:00pm

All ages are welcome to come to the Branch Library for marble painting! Be sure to wear old clothes.

LEGO Club at the Main Library
Tuesday, September 26, 4:00pm

Kids ages 5 and up can use library-supplied Legos at the Main Library to build their own creations,
which will be placed in our children's department display case for one month and then disassembled
for our next Lego event.

Star Wars Reads Day at the Main Library
Saturday, October 7, 12:00-4:00pm

Have some family fun with Star Wars Reads Day. Play Battlefront & Battlefront II on our projection
screen, wear your favorite Star Wars gear or costume and get your picture taken at our photo booth!
Plus snacks, crafts, and other activities. Be sure to check out the morning activities at Washington
Community High School -- they will have a live podcast recording with Coffee with Kenobi,
tabletop game demonstrations from Zeek's, storytime, a book sale, and more!

Halloween Gingerbread House
Saturday, October 28, 10:00am Branch Library or 1:00pm Main Library
Free for ages 3 and up, sign up early to reserve your spot to create a Halloween-themed
gingerbread house at the Branch or Main Library. Children under 8 must be accompanied
by an adult.

Red Cross Babysitting Training

Please check the American Red Cross website for babysitting classes scheduled in the
area at www.redcross.org. There are no scheduled classes at the library at this time.
