Library BINGO
Pick up a special kids' library BINGO card at either the Main or Branch Library at any time during
April. Have fun filling in all the squares; then stop by the Main Library at any time on Saturday,
April 28th, and turn in your completed BINGO card to Miss Lexie to receive an exciting completion
prize! (If you will be out of town or unable to stop in on April 28, please make arrangements with
Lexie to turn in your card either before or after that date.)

Note: No LEGO Club in April due to the Friends of Washington Library Spring Book Sale.


Summer Reading Registration Begins!
Tuesday, May 1

Join us for an all-new, all-ages summer reading! Reading Takes You Everywhere is the theme
of this year's summer reading from June 4-July 14. Register at the Main Library or Branch Library
for more information!

STEAM Power Projects at the Branch Library
Thursday, May 3, 4:00pm

Kids, ages 3 and up, can come to the branch library on the first Thursday of each month for a new
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) project. This month make chalkboard

Ice Cream in a Bag at the Main Library
Saturday, May 5, 2:00pm
Kids, ages 7 and up, can make ice cream with no freezer needed. Call the main library to register!

Brown-Bag-It Lunchtime Entertainment at the Main Library
Wednesday, May 9, 11:30am
Bring your kids and lunches to the main library for matinee and munchies! Come have lunch and
watch a movie with your friends. Drinks are provided.

Crafternoon at the Branch Library
Thursday, May 17, 4:00pm

Kids of all ages are invited to stop in and make a free after-school craft at the branch library. All
materials and instructions provided! This month is paper bag books.

LEGO Club at the Main Library
Tuesday, May 29, 4:00pm
Kids, ages 5 and up, use library-supplied Legos to build original creations that will be displayed
for one month! No registration required.

Red Cross Babysitting Training

Please check the American Red Cross website for babysitting classes scheduled in the
