Library patrons can download eBooks and
audiobooks directly from Washington District
Library's web site through the
Alliance Digital Media Library (ADML).

To watch a brief video on how to browse,

Teen Valentine's Day Party

Teens in grades 6-12 come to the Main Library
on Monday, February 13, from 4:00-6:00pm to
watch 50 First Dates and eat snacks!

Meet the Author!

Join author Linda Edwards at the Main Library
on Thursday, February 16, at 6:00pm as she
shares her book, The Legend of the White Sky,
detailing a Sioux woman's adventurous journey
from disgrace to triumph. Ms. Edwards will follow
the reading with a Q & A session and will sign
and sell copies of her book.

Teen Book Club

The Washington District Library's Teen Book
Club will meet on Thursday, February 16, from
5:00-6:00pm to discuss Blood and Chocolate
by Annette Curtis Klause.

"Perspectives on Caregiving"

The Central Illinois Chapter, Alzheimer's
Association will be presenting a
"Perspectives on Caregiving" program
on Thursday, February 23, at 5:30pm in the
Main Library. Please call the Central Illinois
Chapter at 309-681-1100 for information
about attending this public program.

AARP's Tax Aid Program

Free tax help will again be available at
the Main Library for senior citizens and
low-income persons through AARP's
Tax Aid Program on Tuesdays from
1:00-4:00pm beginning February 7 thru
April 10. Check in at the front desk for
first-come, first-serve appointments. Tax
forms are also available at your library, or
at www.irs.gov (federal) and
http://tax.illinois.gov (Illinois).

"Cabin Fever" Reading Program

Beginning February 2, adults are invited to
celebrate the last six weeks of winter by
coming into the Main or Branch Library to
pick up a winter "reading log". As you read,
be sure to enter our weekly prize drawings.
Those who have completed their book logs by
Saturday, March 17, can enter in the Cabin
Fever Grand Prize Drawing!
