Summer Reading Club final celebration
for children who reached their summer
reading goal will be at the Washington
Park Pool on Tuesday, July 22, from
7:00pm until 8:30pm.

West Nile Virus
Tuesday, July 22, 2:00pm
The Tazewell County Health Department
will be at the Main Library to hold a free
public presentation about West Nile
Virus and mosquitoes.

Route 66
Tuesday, July 22, 6:30pm
Author Dave Clark takes us on a journey
along the ultimate road trip. This historic
2448-mile-long highway stretching from
Los Angeles to Chicago is often called
the Main Street of America.

West Nile Virus
Tuesday, July 29, 2:00pm
The Tazewell County Health Department
will be at the Main Library to hold a free
public presentation about West Nile
Virus and mosquitoes.

Horseback Riding
Thursday, July 31, 8:00-11:00am
Sign up by July 28 at the Main Library to
take a trip to Pekin's Rock'n P Ranch for
horseback riding on the trails. Fee and
signed permission slip required. For
teens in grades 6-12.

LEGO Building Event (for ages 8-12)
Thursday, July 31, 2:00pm
Pre-register for this popular event being
held at the Main Library. Use library
Legos to build your own creations.
Finished designs will be put on display
at the Main Library.

New Historical Society Case
Stop by and see the new Washington
Historical Society display at the Main
Library. Thanks to donations given in
memory of Marguerite and Gary Lucas,
a display case has been purchased
by the Historical Society and placed at
the Main Library to show treasures from
the Society’s collection.
