F.o.W.L. Fall Book Sale
Main Library, September 20 - 24
The Friends of Washington Library
(F.o.W.L) Fall Book Sale will begin
at 9:00am on Saturday, September 20,
and continue during library hours
through noon on Wednesday,
September 24. F.o.W.L. members
can preview the sale for free on Friday,
September 19, from 5:00-7:00pm.
Not a F.o.W.L. member? Pay just $5.00
on September 19 to preview.

"Communication Junction"
Monday, September 29, 9:15-9:45am
Children ages 1-5 are invited to the Main
Library to learn to sign with ever-popular
Abbey Cook as she combines music and
stories with American Sign Language!
No registration required.

Thursday, October 2, 5:00-6:00pm
Teens in grades 6-12 be an active part
of the library by helping to plan events,
select teen materials, and more! The
advisory board of teens meets the first
Thursday of the month. Snacks provided!

Teen Lock-In Sign Up
Sign-up in advance at the Main Library
for a Teen Read Week lock-in! Get
your friends and join in for life-size Clue,
movies, games, late night pizza, and
more! The lock-in will start at 7:00pm
on Friday, October 17 and end at
7:00am on Saturday, October 18.
Registration & permission slip required.

New Historical Society Case
Stop by and see the new Washington
Historical Society display at the Main
Library. Thanks to donations given in
memory of Marguerite and Gary Lucas,
a display case has been purchased
by the Historical Society and placed at
the Main Library to show treasures from
the Society’s collection.
